Caroline M.
Hi! My Name is Caroline and I have worked at Pee Wee Patch since September of 2008. I am in the process of getting my degree in Early Childhood. I have many passions, but children and singing seem to be the passions that are taking over my life. I would absolutely love to be a singer someday, but as for now, my love is for children.
I just recently moved home from Indiana where I worked at a 24 hour child care center for two years, but I’m from Metamora. In 2005, I spent a semester working at Walt Disney World where I spent every day making every child’s day as magical as I possibly could. It’s amazing how making just one child feel like a prince or a princess for one day can make you feel. I’ve worked at several other child care facilities and I was also an assistant dance teacher for preschoolers and older at Center Stage Dance Company in Oxford for several years.
I’ve always connected with children in a way that seems to make me as happy as it does them. There’s absolutely nothing better than loving a child, realizing they know you love them, and feeling them love you back. I don’t think anything can compare to being “yuved.” Hearing a child say “I yuv you Miss Carewine” is one of the main reasons I love what I do. Kids will teach you things only they can see, things we all need to remember how to see. I hope to encourage children to learn and grow in an environment that makes them feel safe and loved every day… because after all, you can never have too much love, and I believe we all need as much as we can get.
Debi P.
Hi my name is Debi. I’ve worked here since September 2008. I have eight years experience in child care. I have a son Michael who will be a senior at Oxford High School. My daughter Ashley will be starting her junior year. I love spending time at my parents’ cabin in Port Hope laying on the beach.
I attended North Branch and Lapeer Schools. I have always been around children. There were five children in my family. I babysat for neighborhood families when I was a teenager. When my children were young I did in home childcare. I worked at another childcare center for seven years. I received my CDA Child Development Associate in 2003. I have over 25 years in the medical field also. I love children and love watching them grow and learn.
I am very active with my children’s activities. Michael plays baseball and Ashley soccer. Both are in marching band. My children are the most important part of my life. |
