Hello! I am very happy to be a teacher at Pee Wee Patch and am anticipating a wonderful year with your children! I have been teaching preschool for over nine years and LOVE teaching this age group! I strongly feel that if children are given a loving environment with many opportunities for exploration and learning, children will blossom and grow. I have completed my Child Development Associate credential. I am also a certified phlebotomist/medical laboratory technician and completed an externship at Royal Oak William Beaumont Hospital. Prior to teaching, I was a secretary for the Lake Orion School District and for many years was a secretary to a senior partner of a law firm. I have three children, Brandon, Aaron and Arielle. In my spare time I really enjoy reading and taking frequent trips to Lexington, MI with my husband, Keven. I also love taking walks with my Beagle, Maggie. Raising my children has been the greatest joy and working with children has become my life-long love.

I have been involved in early childhood education for several years. I attended Eastern Michigan University, where I majored in psychology and minored in child development. Before coming to Pee Wee Patch I was a site manager for a school-age childcare program for three years, and then operated my own home daycare for three years.
I have two teenage daughters of my own. I have many pets: dogs, cats, hedgehog, and fish. I enjoy reading, hiking, bicycling, and nature.
